HOW TO BLOCK ALL APP REQUEST FROM A FACEBOOK FRIEND

To block someone sending you app requests on Facebook you simply go to Settings, Blocking (as above), but this time look for 'Block invites from'. Enter the name of the person you want to block in the text field and select them in the list that appears.

On the next screen choose the Blocking tab.

If you change your mind and decide to give that person a second chance, just return to this option and click Unblock next to their name.

HOW TO BLOCK AN APP ON FACEBOOK

To block an app on Facebook you must open a web browser and log into your Facebook account. Click the downward arrow at the top right of the screen, then choose Settings.

On the next screen choose the Blocking tab.

At the very bottom of the page is the option to block apps. Start typing the name of the app into the text field, then select it from the list that appears.

Steps to Use Two Different Profile Pictures on Facebook

 

Step 1: First you have to Open your Timeline and Open your Profile Picture Album by clicking on Photos Tab, Choose a Picture that you want as another Profile Picture.

Step 2: Open that Picture in a New Window By Holding Ctrl and Clicking on it.

All you have to do is Copy the fbid, Here in the above url, my photo fbid is 491366447588908.

Step 4: Open your Timeline, hover your mouse on your Profile Picture, you will see  Edit Profile Picture Option,Click on it and Select Edit Thumbnail.

Step 5: A popup window will appear, now Right Click on your Profile Picture and Choose Inspect Element,
Scroll down till you find <form action=”https://upload.facebook.com/save_square_pic.php”

 

Step 6: Now click on the Small arrow to Expand the Code Further.

 

Scroll down a bit, you will find <input type=”hidden” autocomplete=”off” name=”photo_fbid” value=”491366447588908“>

Now all You need to do is Replace the Current fbid Value with the one you Copied earlier in Step 3, You can do it by Double Clicking on the Current fbid Value and Replace it with the one you Copied earlier which is in my case :491366447588908.

Step 7: Click anywhere , Close Inspect Element Window and Now Click on Save, All Done, Now Check your timeline, update any status and you will see Different Profile Picture.

2.Enable Secure Browsing

Go to Settings < Account settings

Select Security

Click Edit button on the Secure Browsing and Enable it 

3.Activate Login Notification

The login notification notify you when someone( or you) access your account by mail or sms. 

The next to Secure Browsing  you can find Login Notification, Enable it.

4.Activate Login Approval if it is there in your Settings.

Login Approval is just similar to the Two step Verification of Google. They will send a secret code to your mobile in the time login. You need to confirm it to get access to your account. Login Approval is missing on some countries. I don't know why it is. You can't find it on my screenshot.

5.Setup Code Generator

If you are unable to receive the sms. You can use Code generator it simply generate codes and you can activate your account using that code.

Click Continue 

Click Next

and Close it. Now Code generator is active

Creating Your Own Emoticon on Facebook Chat

The Trick:

While this is not actually new, many people have no idea about this feature. Since 2011, Facebook has allowed users to chat with their friends using custom emoticons, and now you can too. Just by getting a page’s or a profile’s ID or username, Facebook will let you use their profile pictures as your chat emoticon in thumbnails…

*note this only works in the Facebook Chat and not in updates. 

How to Do it:

1)       Go to any profile, official Page, or event that you want to use as an emoticon.

2)       Look for the profile ID at the end of the URL, such as “username” from 

https://www.facebook.com/username

3)       Place that username or number in double brackets like [[username]]

Note: Pages with no username /vanity URL  e.g https://www.facebook.com/Username have default ID numbers displayed on their URLs (http://www.facebook.com/pages/LoveAn-excellent-feeling/333797746646604/).  So when you cannot find  a profile or a page’s username, just refer to the numbers at the end of the URL, instead. 

4)       Enter that into a Facebook Chat or Message field.

Removing Your Last Name in Your Facebook Profile

The Trick:

As part of Facebook’s security checks, you are required to completely fill out your account details to successfully create an account. By default, Facebook requires every user to enter their full name prior to saving their profile settings.

With this trick, you will be able to bypass Facebook’s restrictions and drop your last name.

How to Do it:

1) Open Mozilla Firefox (Firefox is required for this hack to work)

2) Go to Options -> Advanced -> Network -> Settings -> Connection Settings -> Manual Proxy Configuration

3) In the HTTP Proxy Field, enter 

103.10.62.30, port 8080, or use any Indonesian Proxy.

4) On your facebook profile, go to Account settings — > Change Language to BAHASA INDONESIA

5) Remove your middle name & last name.

Post Blank Status Update

Facebook doesn’t allow you to post blank status update. If you want, you need to put at least an punctuation mark like comma, dot, etc. But here is an trick that lets you to  post blank status update:

Just type @[0:0: ] in status box and hit Enter and its done  . You can use any number in the code like @[1:1: ], @[7:7: ] and make your blank status as long as you canby pressing enter key after each code.

Modify Anchor Text For Personal Profile / Fan Pages

By default, the anchor text used to link Fanpage or Friend’s profile URL, are their Name but you can customize it for status updates by using this these simple steps :

Step 1: Get Numeric ID of Facebook Profile/Fanpage by visiting   

http://graph.facebook.com/username. 

Replace ‘username’ by your, your friend’s or your brand’s Fanpage. That URL’s Numeric ID will appear.

Step 2: Now, you can modify Anchor as per this code:

@@[0:[YOURPAGEID:1:New Anchor Text]]

Using 0 at the place of ‘New Anchor Text will use Fanpage’s Name as anchor.

*Note: The code should be used twice in status update or else, the trick will not work.

Method #1 : From Profile ID

You can create icon (16 x 16) image of any Facebook user’s profile pic by just typing their Facebook profile ID inside[[ ]] (double square bracket). This trick will work in Facebook chat. You just need to grab the person or page’s Facebook Profile ID. You can do this by putting the person/page’s username as :

Stay Undetected – Disable Read Receipt feature

You just need to install Chat Undetected Plugin on your browser. Follow these steps:

Step 1 : Go To This Website.

Step 2 : Click on large green button, saying “Get Chat Undetected”.

Step 3 : It will download Chat Undetected Software to your PC that will add Chat Undetected Extension/Add-ons to your Web Browsers.

Step 4 : Close All the opened browser and Install the setup file i.e., chat-undetected.exe.

Step 5 : Open your browsers, on extensions section, you   will find the extension installed. Activate It and you’re done.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox then it will ask for your permission to install and activate chat undetected add-on. Just click on Install Now button there.

Now, whenever you read somebody’s message, he/she will not get read receipt.

Disabling/Un-installing Chat Undetected

If you wants to disable this feature, just deactivate the extension from your browser.

For Chrome, Go to Settings > Extensions, uncheck “enable” checkbox. There is also option (dustbin icon) to delete the extension to remove Chat Undetected Plugin from Chrome.

If you are using Mozilla FireFox, Go to Tools > Add-On or simply press Ctrl+Shift+A, disable the plugin and restart your browser. You can also delete the plugin for Mozilla FireFox specifically from here.
